The fish series was made in 1984. The series was made for the Christopher Strangeway shop in Covent Garden, London. Some of the dishes featured in the Hamlyn,"Sea Fish Cookbook " 1986.
Each fish was a one off, cut from a blank press moulded shape at the leatherhard stage and drawn free hand, cutting away the leatherhard clay. Decoration was applied with a spraygun and fired to earthenware temperature. |
